Laborers Day at the Capitol 2016

It is time once again for our annual Laborers Day at the Capitol. We need you to join us in the offices of your state representatives and senators. Our lawmakers need to hear from our members how the legislation they pass affects their jobs, family and communities. This year we will be asking our representatives to support a long-term boost to transportation funding and a large bonding bill for infrastructure improvements. We will also make sure they understand we will fight back against any attempts to undermine our pay or benefits, like Right-to-Work or attacks on Prevailing Wages.  Here are the details of the event:

 

 

Legislative Reception

Tuesday, March 22nd

5:00-7:30 pm

Carpenters Union Hall, 700 Olive Street, Saint Paul, MN.

 

Day at the Capitol

Wednesday, March 23rd

Laborers District Council Offices

81 E. Little Canada Road

Saint Paul, MN

10:00 Registration & Cookout

11:15 Briefing

11:45 Board busses for the Capitol

12:30-4:00 Meetings with Legislators

4:00 Board busses back to Laborers District Council
